Dr. Benjamin Gilmore graduated from The King’s University with Distinction with the completion of his project “Impact of Demographics on Ministry Burnout at a Megachurch.”
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of age, gender, role, and the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of full-time employees at a megachurch that values Sabbath and sabbatical rest. Dr. Gilmore desires to extend this research into other churches in America to provide a snapshot of the mental health of the staff of churches today as related to the risk of ministry burnout.
